Our Mission in Action
At Packing With Purpose, our mission is to ensure that everyone—regardless of their circumstances—has access to the basic hygiene products they need to feel clean, confident, and cared for. As a student-led nonprofit, we partner directly with underfunded homeless shelters to understand their most urgent needs, fundraise through our local networks, and deliver complete hygiene kits with dignity and intention. We believe that small acts of care can spark lasting change—and we’re committed to packing purpose into every donation we make.
Fundraising
We raise money through GoFundMe and community outreach to purchase high-need hygiene items requested by our partner shelters. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every dollar goes directly toward helping someone feel clean, safe, and cared for.
Care - Kits
Once supplies are purchased, we pack individual Care-Kits with essentials like deodorant, soap, sunscreen, and more—tailored to the needs of each shelter. Volunteers help organize, pack, and personalize these kits with care.
Drop - Offs
We deliver Care-Kits directly to our shelter partners across Massachusetts. Our team coordinates with shelter staff to ensure every item reaches the right hands.
